Close to Ninety Flights Connected to Epstein Allegedly Landed at or Took Off from British Airfields

A review has found that nearly 90 aircraft journeys linked to Jeffrey Epstein allegedly landed at and took off from UK airports, with some allegedly having onboard British women who assert they were exploited by the convicted sex offender.

Aviation Records Show Pattern of Travel

These aviation records were part of a trove of court documents and files released by the estate of Jeffrey Epstein that have been made public over the last year. The investigation identified 87 flights connected to Epstein – featuring many that were not previously known – coming into or leaving from UK airports between the early 1990s and 2018.

Passenger Details and Post-Conviction Travel

Unnamed female passengers were documented among the passengers travelling into and out of the UK. Notably, 15 of these UK flights happened following Epstein’s 2008 conviction for soliciting sex from a underage person.

“This is ‘astonishing’ that there had never been a ‘thorough probe in the UK’ into his operations in the country,” stated American attorneys acting for numerous Epstein victims.

UK Survivors and Legal Proceedings

A statement from one of the UK-based survivors was instrumental in convicting Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell of child sex-trafficking in the US in 2021. Yet, that survivor has never been contacted by UK authorities, as stated by her attorney based in Florida.

In a response, the the Met said they had “not been provided with any additional evidence that would support restarting the investigation.” They commented, “If new and relevant evidence be brought to our attention, encompassing any arising from the disclosure of documents in the US, we will assess it.”

Ongoing Disclosure and Judicial Decisions

Proposed legislation to release all files held by the US government in concerning Epstein was approved by the House and Senate last month. The Department of Justice has until 19 December to follow through. Hundreds of thousands of files are expected to be made public.

Separately, a US judge ordered last week that the DOJ could make public case files from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epstein’s long-term associate, who is currently serving a 20-year jail term over the allegations.
